Day Passes

All-Terrain Wheelchairs are available at this park. Reservations are required, and must be made a minimum of 2 days in advance and a maximum of 30 days in advance. All-Terrain Wheelchairs will be available for the 2025 season beginning June 6, 2026 - reservations will open 30 days prior on May 6, 2026. Please visit ctparks.com/all-terrain-wheelchairs for more information and to watch the required video training.

Visitors using the all-terrain wheelchairs at Stratton Brook State Park will be able to enjoy all picnic areas and the pavilion. Visitors may also explore the mile out-and-back Farmington Heritage trail until your adventure ends and you have to turn around at the bridge and the road. The Swimming Pond Trail is a half a mile loop where you can explore the beach, picnic areas and Stratton Brook Stream. Remember to visit our accessible fishing spots on our Trout Fishing Pond. Visitors must stay off the beach boardwalk with the all-terrain wheelchairs.

Driving Directions

From Hartford, Rt 185: Follow Route 185/Simsbury Rd. Go West on Route 185 for 5.8 miles. Slight Right on E. Weatogue St. Go 1 mile and turn left onto Riverside Rd. Turn Left on Drake Hill Rd. At the Light turn left and then right on West St. Go 1.6 miles and Stratton Brook State Park will be on your left.
From Avon Rt. 44: Follow US-202 E/ Simsbury Rd. Go East 4 miles. Turn left at the light on West St. Go a half mile and Stratton brook State Park will be on your Left.
From Granby, Rt 202: Follow US-202 S/ Salmon Brook St for 6 miles. Turn Left on West St. Go 1.6 miles and Stratton Brook State Park will be on your left.
