Other Fees

Reservation Fee:  There is a $9.00 transaction fee for camping and picnic shelter reservations. This fee is non-refundable.
Walk-In Camping Reservation Fee:  There is a $3.00 transaction fee for each walk-in camping registration, in addition to the nightly campsite fee.
Cancellation Fee:  There is a $9.00 fee to cancel any reservations.  This is in addition to any penalty fees/charges.
Change/Transfer Fee:  There is a $9.00 fee to make changes to the site or dates of a reservation.
Gillette Castle Tour Ticket Transaction / Cancellation Fee:  There is a $2.00 fee to purchase tour tickets for Gillette Castle.  A $2.00 fee will also be subtracted from any refunds.

Cancellation Policies

Picnic Shelter Cancellation Policy

Picnic Shelter Reservations may be cancelled through Reserve America a minimum of 6 days prior to the reserved date. Park staff are not able to process cancellations.

Refund amounts will be determined as follows:

Cancellations made 30 days or more prior to the picnic shelter reservation: full refund less the $9.00 non-refundable reservation fee and $9.00 cancellation fee
Cancellations made 6 - 29 days prior to the picnic shelter reservation: refund of $145.00 less $9.00 cancellation fee
Cancellations made within 5 days of the picnic shelter reservation: Not eligible for a refund.

Camping Cancellation Policy

Reservations may be cancelled up to two days prior to the intended stay through Reserve America. Campground staff are not able to process cancellations.

Refund amounts will be determined as follows:

More than 7 days prior to scheduled arrival: Reserve America will issue a full refund less non-refundable reservation fee and $9.00 cancellation fee
Between 2-7 days prior to scheduled arrival: Reserve America will issue a full refund less non-refundable reservation fee, cost of one night of camping and $9.00 cancellation fee
Less than 2 days prior to scheduled arrival: Not eligible for a refund.

Gillette Castle Tour Ticket Cancellation Policy

Tour tickets may be cancelled up to 7 days prior to the scheduled tour date. Reserve America will issue a full refund less the non-refundable transaction fee ($2.00) and a $2.00 cancellation fee.

Parking Pass and Day Pass Cancellation Policy

No refunds, cancellations, changes or transfers are allowed for car passes or day passes.
There are no refunds within seven days of a scheduled tour.
Transfers: Tour tickets may be transferred to other dates/times up to two days prior to the scheduled tour at no charge.
