Hammonasset Beach State Park, CT

Enjoy a relaxing beach day at Connecticut's largest shoreline park. Explore tide pools, visit the Nature Center, and take a guided interpretive bus tour of the park's natural wonders. This event is only for registered bus riders and is not open to general public drop-ins.

Bring sunscreen, beachwear, towels, lunch, snacks, and water.

Lifeguards and interpretive guides on site. ADA-accessible buses with onboard restrooms will be provided.

All riders must reserve a seat in advance. The $2 transaction fee is non-refundable. Every individual using a seat, including infants and toddlers, must have a reservation.

Trips will proceed rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, participants will be notified by email.

Please arrive early. Buses will depart on time. If you miss your departure, we cannot provide refunds or alternate transportation.

This free trip is made possible through ParkConneCT, a partnership between CT DEEP and the Connecticut Department of Transportation to expand access to state parks.
