You can now make a reservation for the day before your arrival and up until 11 months in advance. The maximum length of stay is 14 consecutive days. Following stays of any length, all members of your camping party and your camping equipment must leave the park for 5 days before you can return. Any reservation with a departure date that is more than 11 months from today cannot be changed or cancelled for 18 days after the reservation was made for an inland campground and 25 days for sites at Hammonasset and Rocky Neck.

Following each stay at any CT State Park or Forest campground, regardless of duration, a five-day interim period is mandatory for all members of the camping party (occupants). All camping equipment must also be removed from the park during the five-day period, and may not be used for other sites or other campers within that campground. Campers may not move to another camping area within the same park or forest during the interim. The camp areas within Pachaug State Forest, Salt Rock State Forest and Hopeville Pond State Park shall be considered one campground.

Salt Rock Campground is a great place to bring your family for an enjoyable summertime camping trip. The park offers one mile of riverfront.
Geography:
Salt Rock Campground is located in the town of Baltic, in southern Connecticut.
Recreation:
Fishing is available along the Shetucket River, which offers over one mile of waterfront access. A fishing license is required for anyone 16 years of age or older. Facilities:
Facilities include tent and recreational vehicle (RV) sites, some of which have utilities. Sites 1-7 have recently been upgraded to 50 amp service. There are also restrooms, a dumping station and showers.
